How the math works: interchange is set by the card networks (Visa, Mastercard, and others) and varies by card type and how the card is accepted, so your real interchange-plus cost depends on your actual card mix. The interchange field above is an editable estimate. Flat-rate defaults to a common online rate of 2.9% + $0.30 - enter your own rate to compare. Figures are estimates only, exclude any monthly platform fees on either side, and are not a quote.

How does this fee calculator work?

What is interchange-plus pricing?
It splits a card fee into two parts: interchange set by the card networks, which no processor can change, plus a fixed processor markup. CoreGateway uses interchange + 0.50% + $0.15 per transaction.
Which pricing model is right for me - flat-rate or interchange-plus?
