What does the $20 cover, and what about processing fees?+
The $20 is the monthly subscription for both products, $10 each. Payment processing is separate and billed as transactions happen, at interchange-plus rates so you can see exactly what the card networks charge and what we charge. Nobody bundles those into a flat monthly number honestly, so we don't pretend to.
How fast is setup?+
Both products run on one merchant account, so there is one onboarding and one underwriting review. Most organizations are approved within 24 hours.
Do we need to buy card readers?+
No hardware. CoreMobile uses the NFC chip already in any modern iPhone or Android, so a volunteer's own phone is the terminal. Add a phone, add a checkout lane. Minimum requirements: an iPhone XS or newer on a current version of iOS, or an NFC-equipped Android on a supported version.
Will our donors be asked to tip?+
Never. Some platforms ask your donors to add a tip on top of their gift. We don't, and there is no setting that turns it on.
We already use one of the products. Can we still get the bundle rate?+
Yes. Existing CoreCause or CoreMobile customers can add the other product and move onto the $20 bundle rate. Use the same form and tell us which product you already have.
