Matt DeLong // President/CEO

Matt DeLong is the original founder of Sum Effect Software, Inc. and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. He also serves on the Board of Directors.

Matt brings significant technical and business experience to the table which allows him to play a crucial role in product development.

Matt's diverse business background includes experience as a successful entrepreneur and a proven executive business leader. He has overseen tremendous revenue growth, employee growth, and sustained profitability during his tenure. Matt is married with two daughters.

Vance Lawson // Executive Vice President/COO

Vance Lawson has served on the Company’s Board of Directors since 2004 and beginning May 2012 serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Vance has over 30 years of experience leading businesses, including serving as Chief Service Officer and a divisional Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of NYSE Companies. He is passionate about seeing improvements in people and organizations.

Vance has a BS from Kansas State University and is a CPA. He is married and has 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

Kris Graffagnino // Director of Sales

Kris was the original hire for the company back in 2003. He held many positions back then, from sales to support. He comes from a sales background and has over 11 years of sales experience. Kris is responsible for sales training and sales goals.

Kris is also responsible for implementing numerous innovations to increase revenues with Sum Effect Software, Inc., including the way we monitor our sales goals.

Kris has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Louisiana State University, and is married with 1 daughter.

Terry Thomas // Director of Customer Service

Terry has almost 20 years of management experience and joined the company in 2005.

Terry oversees the tech support call center and is responsible for all customer satisfaction.

Terry has an Associates Degree of Computer Science in Software Application Programming from ITT Tech. Terry has one son and one daughter.

Nikita Makeyev // Director of Development

Nikita is the youngest member of the management team and is originally from the Russian Federation. He has been in the US since 2000 and is fluent in both English and Russian languages.

Nikita manages production as well as research and development. Nikita joined the company in 2006 and has contributed greatly to its growth. He has held several positions within the company before becoming a director, which gives him a unique perspective of the company as a whole.

Nikita has a Bachelor of Science in Game Design and Development from Full Sail University. He has been programming for over seven years and is comfortable in numerous programming languages.

Steven St. Clair // Director of Design

Steven has over 7 years of design experience in both web and print design, along with extensive knowledge of front-end development and web standards. He is responsible for overseeing our team of designers for both in-house design as well as the designs and projects we create for our clients.

Steven has a Bachelor of Science in Digital Arts & Design from Full Sail University, where he was also the valedictorian of his class.

He also served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 2000-2004, where he was an infantryman and involved in operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
