3140: There is an invalid reference to QuickBooks Customer "XXX" in the SalesReceipt. QuickBooks error message: The specified name is either invalid or of the wrong type.

Description:
Error message received from application via getLastError(): 3140: There is an invalid reference to QuickBooks Customer "XXX" in the SalesReceipt. QuickBooks error message: The specified name is either invalid or of the wrong type.

This means that the customer being referenced either does not exist in QuickBooks or does exist but is not of the type Customer.  They are most likely entered as an employee or vendor which cannot be tied to an order. If you receive this error, please contact Support and we can let you know which customer is causing the issue.
