By default, all of your products will use the same product detail template layout. However, you can also set your products to use different templates. To edit or create the templates, you will need to go to Design > Template Layouts > Product Detail.

To assign a particular template to a product, edit the product and go to the Advanced tab. Then in the left navigation, go to Layout. You can then choose which template layout you want this product to use, and it can be either a pre-designed template or a custom template.

If you do not specify a particular template for a product, then that product will use the default template that is selected under Design > Template Layouts > Product Detail.
