We have added several new features in our latest release. You can watch a video on them below.

Before to setup 301 redirects you had to do this directly in the .htaccess file. That is no longer needed. You now have an easy way to set up 301 Redirects with CoreCommerce.

The homepage has added two new features. You can now add bottom content to the homepage. We also made the homepage a template layout to give you full control over the placement of any section.

Now you can setup terms & conditions specific to any country. For example, you can have one set of terms and conditions for US ship to country and a different terms and conditions for UK ship to country.

You can now remove a US state just from the shipping address drop down.

Our latest CoreCommerce release is rolling out today January 18, 2011. We are the first ecommerce solution to support Facebook connect, Twitter and Google login ability. This means with these new customer login options, your customers can actually create an account on your site quickly with their Facebook login, Twitter login or Google/GMail login. This will help increase conversions by giving customers a quicker way to checkout.

With CoreCommerce’s latest release we have now integrated with Quickbooks Point of Sale (POS). Our updated Quickbooks integration list is below:

• QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions
• QuickBooks Premier (2002 or later)
• QuickBooks Pro (2002 or later)
• QuickBooks Point of Sale

You can easily transfer your data from your CoreCommerce store directly into your Quickbooks POS. This will be a huge time saver.

We have also added some other features:

• Print Receipt Link Displayed on Order Complete Page – This will display a printer friendly link on the order complete page for the customer receipt.

• Product Review Email Notifications – If you would like to receive an email every time a new product review is added, you can turn this new feature on. To do so go to settings > inventory settings. Then look for “Send admin an email when a product review is submitted:” towards the bottom of the page. Turn this on.

• Import Zip Code Based Tax Rates – You can import zip code based tax rates in a csv format.

• Added Shipping Cost to Gross Sales Report – This report previously didn’t display the shipping cost entered in the admin order detail page. We have added it to this report to accurately reflect your profit margin.

• Minimum Order Amount Per Customer Group – Previously you could only set this at the entire store level. Now when editing a customer group you can set a specific minimum order amount for that group.

• Custom Order Complete Page – You can choose to send customers to the current default CoreCommerce order complete page or you can send them to any URL of your choice. This can be helpful if you want your own custom order complete page to display.

• PayTrace – New Payment Gateway.

• Linkpoint Gateway Supports Authorize only

• Sales Price End Date – You can set an end date for any sales price you set for a product. When the end date is reached then the product price goes back to the regular sales price.

We have also added new store designs.

As usual our team is working hard to add even more store designs and additional features to always keep you ahead of your competition.

CoreCommerce has now released version 7.0. There has been many new features added, along with revamping of existing features to allow for more flexibility.

We have worked a long time on revamping shipping, options and adding personalization. We have also added features like the iphone view. We have also added another way you can submit tickets by going to this url: https://www.corecommerce.com/myaccount. If you ever have trouble logging into your admin to submit a ticket, you can always do so by going to this link.

* Admin Design Change – Changed the overall admin design for easy navigation to features.

* IPhone View – To access your admin with your iphone, just go to your admin URL on your iphone and from there you will be able to login and view orders, tickets, and messages. You will be able to submit tickets, respond to tickets and close tickets directly from your iphone.

* Product Options – We sent out a message about a week ago on this. The message is below to help explain this new feature. We also have added a training video for this feature.

* Product Personalization – We sent out a message about a week ago on this. The message is below to help explain this new feature. We also have added a training video for this feature.

* Product Detail Layouts – You can choose from up to 6 different pre-designed layouts for your product detail template. You can of course create your own layout here also. To use this feature though, you must restore your pre-designed template. To read more about this go here.

* Shipping Zones – You can now setup multiple shipping zones. This will allow you to setup different shipping methods based on the shipping location of the customer. We also have added a training video for this feature.

* Product Cost Report Update – Added the SKU column to the report.

* Quickbooks Update – You can now send the product/option sku over as the QB item name/number.

* Photo Group Sort – You can now batch update photo groups when viewing the photos section of a product.

* Order Subtotal Shipping Update – You can now add a percentage sign for the rate value to use a percent of the order subtotal versus a flat rate.

* Hyperlink Product on View Cart – You can have the product on the view cart page hyperlinked back to the product detail.

* Meta Tags Multi-Lingual

* Inventory Reports Update – Added a print/view all option for inventory reports.

* Easy Design Editor – By clicking on the design link and choosing easy design editor you can quickly edit product, categories, add widgets directly from your storefront.

* Delete All Products – Quickly delete all of your products in your store. Be careful, once deleted they cannot be restored.

* Canadian Tax Update – Orders with Canadian tax now break down the GST, HST and PST tax amounts.

* Coupon Shipping Method – You can create a coupon, if used, will create a new shipping method based on the amount you specify with the coupon.

* Added New Order Status – Added a status Processing

* AtLast Fulfillment Integration – Can be used if using AtLast fulfillment.

* Newsletter Update – You can batch assign all customers to a mailing list by clicking the assign link in the newsletter section.

* Email Receipts Update – .You can now select whether or not to send out admin and customer receipts when the order is placed or only when it is saved as approved.

* Upload a Flash Logo – When using pre-designed or generic design, you can now upload a flash logo directly from the admin.

* Sales Price Date Field – You can use the sales price date field to active a sales price some date in the future.

* Emails Support Multiple Languages

* Maximum Order Quantity – Under the advanced section when adding/editing a product, you can now specify a maximum order quantity for a product.

Everyone of these features have been driven by the requests of our customers. We would like to thank each one for all of their suggestions.

• Percentage/Sub-Total Shipping Combination – New shipping method where you can create rules for percentage and sub-total combinations.

• Three New Inventory Reports – Added inventory report, low inventory report and out of stock inventory reports.

• Personalization Fields Modification– You can specify a maximum field length for product personalization’s.

• Facebook Image Modifications – Facebook will now resize your images using HTML image resizing. This will avoid having your images very large on Facebook.

We have released several new features into CoreCommerce. Again most of these have come at the request of our customers. We greatly appreciate all of your feedback. If you have any great ideas please share them with us, either by submitting a support ticket or by submitting them in the forum under “Feature Request”.

  • Free Shipping coupons are now available. You can offer free shipping coupons to your customers. This feature has been studied online by many experts and has shown to greatly increase customer conversions.
  • Overhaul of the real-time shipping and tracking. You can now use real-time package tracking to bring live tracking to your website, when using shipping methods other than real-time shipping. Previously the only way to receive real-time package tracking was you had to use real-time rate quotes. This is not the case anymore. So if you are using sub-total method for shipping and you send packages via UPS, you can click on configure next to real-time shipping carriers to setup just real-time package tracking for UPS. Just a reminder support UPS, FedEx and USPS real-time package tracking.
  • Content pages can now be associated with membership groups. This way only certain membership groups like wholesalers could see these specific website pages.
  • Store Closed feature now contains a WYISWYG editor for easy editing so you can add your own picture, content and more to the store closed page.
  • You can now display the order weight on the checkout confirmation page with standard checkout mode. Just go to the link provided and check the “Display Order Weight” setting.
  • If you only ship to a few locations in a specific area, you can now restrict shipping by zip code. This will allow you to guarantee your customers are in your shipping zone before they place an order. This is typically used for companies who sell food, flowers or local items.
  • When creating a product or editing a product we added a “Save and Add New” button. This will eliminate some clicks and save time when adding products.
  • On the call/email for pricing feature, we now display the SKU on the product detail page.
  • If you use product options with pricing, you can now choose to allow prices to display as a range of low to high or just the base price for products with options on the product list page.
